Invited seminars
The Optimization Seminar series is organized by the Advanced Optimization Laboratory and sponsored by MPRIME.
The Optimization Seminar series:
- provides an informal gathering for Computing and Software faculty, students, and visitors to exchange research ideas on optimization algorithms, problems and applications;
- facilitates interaction between faculty and students from various departments (Computing and Software, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mathematics and Statistics, DeGroote School of Business).

| We meet on Tuesdays, 16:00-17:30 in ITB-201 unless otherwise indicated. Comments and questions about the seminar may be directed to Prof. Antoine Deza (deza@mcmaster.ca). |
| We have invited speakers from all over the world giving 1-hour long talks about optimization and related areas. The regular time for this seminar is Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 PM in ITB/201. | |

Industrial Optimization Seminars

This seminar is organized in the Fields Institute in Toronto usually on the first Tuesday of each month. The seminars feature two speakers, one from academia, one from industry, both giving a one-hour talk.
